Just a few of the children that the charity has helped.
I have been trying to find the words to write about the talk that was given by our member John Booth and his friend Philip Dean at our recent Tuesday morning social event when they gave a presentation on the St George Foundation Charity that Phillip started in Sierra Leone back in 2004.
Strangely for me I am lost for words. Unusual for me I know but there is always a first time for everything. It really is a privilege to know a couple of guys that have been involved in a project such as this.
I think that the best thing that I can do is just to point readers to their website. We all walked away from that talk somewhat humbled by the experience. This seems to be a most unusual charity in that 99,9% of money raised goes to helping the children and none of it is wasted on exective's salaries, so if after having looked at their website you feel that you would like to contribute to their work see the donation form at the bottom of this page.
