The main stall.

Once again Stubbington Fayre proved a great pull for the public. The weather was absolutely perfect for the event with a constant stream of people interested in our wares and what we do.

As last year, a small number of members turned up at The Shed on Sunday afternoon to load Roger's van with goodies, we also needed Cliff's and John R's cars. Then on the following morning 10 members arrived to set the stalls up, even though the event wasn't supposed to start until 11:00am we were ready at least an hour earlier. Bit of luck really because members of the public were already wandering about.

During the day at least 17 members were involved in manning the stall and thanks to them we had a very profitable day with tool sales supplying nearly 50% of the profits and those pesky rats raised a goodly amount as well.

John R had taken our recently robotised Shedric for a day out. He certainly seemed to enjoy himslelf, watching, head moving from side to side and waving at everybody. One lady even plucked up the courage to have a chat with him, the group really must start on voice synthesis. With AI people could probably hold a more sensible conversation with him than most of our members.

Ah well, the end of another great day. I am absolutely certain that we will be back again next year so until then have a great life.
