We were asked to dismantle their climbing frame and slide so four of us turned up on Tuesday morning with the necessary tools ready to undertake the demolition. What we hadn't planned for was getting the washing in before we began but we managed without too much problem.
First thing though was to fortify the inner man with tea and biscuits then we set to as shown in the pictures. The we set to by examining the structure and agreeing a careful plan of campaign the demolition job began.
It was a very well built frame made from a good quality timber that they had offered to The Shed as they had no use for it so we tried to keep as much of it in as good condition as possible. By Friday it had all been recovered and moved to our storage area ready for use in another project. All in all a very clean job with which everyboy was well pleased, Basically a win-win situation all round.
