Space at last (well a little at least).

At last we have managed to lease a container within easy walking distance. Brian received the keys last week and the first job was to insulate it. The first thing was to put some of the racking up. It might have been easier if we had insulated before this but we really needed the space in The Shed.
Talk about "When father painted the parlour", it wasn't in it. The lines
"Mother got stuck to the ceiling,
The children stuck to the floor,
You've never seen a blooming family
so stuck up before."
It really seemed so appropriate.
A bunch of the old regulars rolled over there as Brian had purchased some insulation, like bubble wrap between two sheets of aluminium foil, and some spray on glue. Trouble was the rolls were about 2 inches (50.8mm) wider than half of the width of the container. It went up without TOO much trouble but sticking a piece that long in a confined space most certainly wasn't the easiest thing in the world. Luckily we only needed to insulate the ceiling, back wall and doors as the containers either side worked well enough for the purpose.
Next thing was to bring the trailer home from the kind lady's (sorry, person's) garden as it was begining to become a bit of a pain for her. Well that has now been done and the trailer is up for sale if anybody is interested, excellent condition with brand new tyres. When Colin F gets back from yet ANOTHER jaunt to the Far East he can finish the back shelves and then it's just a case of filling it up.
We have been so short of space for so long that I wonder how we will be able to cope with all of that free area. ps. Still nowhere near enough space so keep looking for a new site where we can build our own shed.
