Santa Waitrose!

Christmas came early for Fareham Men's Shed.

Late Tuesday morning the shed's phone rang and it was a gentleman from Waitrose Locks Heath saying that we had been chosen as their Christmas charity and they would like to award us £500! Wow! an hour or do later we contacted them just for versification and to make sure that it wasn't a wind up but no it was genuine and a time was set for us to go along and collect a cheque.

This morning Peter Raven, Cliff Jones and myself visited the store and the enclosed photo was taken.

Fareham Men's Shed wish to say a very big thank you to Joe Williamson the store manager and all her staff and we wish them all a very Happy Christmas and healthy New Year!
