Well that's the last event of this quarter century and now that the days are starting to lengthen it's time to start looking forward to the next big event starting on New Year's Day - the beginning of our 10th birthday.
40 members and 24 partners arrived for the Christmas bash which was held once again, at The Masonic Hall in Fareham, catering by Jeoff Borg, the same company as last year and it was just as good as ever. Derek A's Christmas music quiz went down well as did Chris H's written quiz where you had to find a word to add to a body part to make something different as in the given word was ear and the answer was, you guessed it, ear. It was surprisingly difficult for some of the words but everybody seemed to enjoy it.
So now time to put the old thinking caps on and find a way to celebrate our tenth birthday. Any sensible answers please pass to one of the trustees, June will be here amazingly quickly.
Have a great Christmas and a pleasnt New Year and we shall meet again, I am sure, in 2026.
