The ARK Christmas Fayre.

Our Shed took part with about 100 other stall holders on Sunday 30th November at the ARK's (RSPCA Animal Rescue Center) in Stubbington in aid of their funds.
It rained on Saturday, it poured on Moday but luckily for us as some say "the sun always shines on the righteous" because we had a successful, bright, cold and sunny day!
Some of our Shedders also helped to marshall the incoming cars (basking in the sun with their winter woollies on) into parking spaces for which the organisers were extremely grateful as the attendance was amazing!
Much preparation, as normal for such an event, started the day before by loading cars in the daylight. We set up our stall that evening. Several Shedders were at the stall early on the day to lay out the sales items. These were predominantly wood crafts with a Christmas theme.
Another first for us. The stall showed a lot of interest from the public throughout the day, so again we showed off our abilities and explained what a Men's Shed is all about. Sales were a bonus! Hopefully we'll do it again next year.
